Hadrian’s Gate - Antalya, Turkey

Every tourist coming to Antalya should see this beautiful monument of ancient architecture. Located on Ataturk Boulevard in Antalya’s city center, Hadrian’s Gate is a stunning historic ruin which was built in the name of the Roman emperor Hadrian, who visited the city in the year 130. Hadrian’s Gate is one of the main entrance’s to the Old Town (Kaleici), the city’s beautiful historic quarter. I highly recommend to spend one day in Antalya city center and visit the Old Town (Kaleici), Old Harbor, Karaalioglu Park and Hadrian’s Gate at once because they’re all located in the walking distance from each other. #historicplaces
