Tumen Port

Tumen Port consists of two parts: a highway port and a railway port. It is China's second land port to North Korea. Located on the banks of the Tumen River in Tumen City, opposite is the Nanyang International Port of North Korea. Generally, people go to the Tumen Highway Port. Tumen Highway Port is China's second land port to North Korea, built in 1941. In 1945, a system for border residents to visit relatives was established, and barter trade was carried out. The total length of the highway port bridge is more than 500 meters. The national gate of the highway port was first built in 1985, with a structure in the shape of the Chinese character '门' (meaning 'gate'), and inscribed with 'China Tumen Port'.
