Atok, Benguet 🏔️🌬️ How to get there: 🗺️ We brought our vehicle to Atok and used google map as our guide. Just input Atok Municipal Hall as your destination which is on your left side. Road is cemented but still exercise caution when driving along Halsema Highway. There were times we couldn't see the road due to fog. Travel time to Atok is approximately 2hrs from Baguio. Napakalamig dito lalo na sa madaling araw. 🔑 Mt. Timbak summit is only 15-25 mins trek from the parking area. Madaming beses kaming huminto to catch our breath kahit pa short distance na lang. Hindi biro ang maglakad sa sobrang lamig na area at pataas. May stopover along the trail, sa bahay ni Ate. Pdeng mag-cr and she offers coffee for P25. Manage your expectations. Some may experience sea of clouds at the summit but in our case walang clearing. 🔑 Sa Highest Point View Deck may mga nagtitinda ng ref magnets (P35 ea) at stickers (P40 ea). Pde dn mag-cr dito. 🔑 Mass is held every 2nd Sunday sa Lourdes Grotto accdg to our guide. Dahil sa mga gumuhong bato noong lindol ng 1990, lumiit na ang sakop ng grotto. 🔑 Sarado ang NBFF tuwing Lunes. 🔑 Masarap ang bola-bola siopao (P40 ea) at hotcake (P12 ea) ng Marosan Restaurant. Eto ang stopover ng mga UV express. Walking distance sa accommodation at municipal hall. Dito kmi kumain. If may extra budget, I suggest to buy Kini-ing (P250), a smoked cured pork meat. This is similar to Etag of Sagada but for me, the former is more flavorful and less salty. 3 balot ang binili namin at ndi kami nagsisi. Talagang masarap.
