📍 Itinerary Overview Tromso Cathedral Famous hot dog stand - Raketten Bar & Polse The most northern McDonald’s in the world 🚇 Transportation First make your way across Tromso bridge connecting the both sides of the city. It’s a stunning walk and allows for amazing views of the surrounding 360 degree mountain ranges which are snow capped during the autumn season. If you don’t wish to walk you can easily catch a metro bus to connect you in the other side. They run very 15 minutes or so. Once you’re in the cathedral be sure to sit down and the offered tables and pickup one of their several books detailing the story about how this cathedral. It will walk you through not only the purpose and the building of it but also the magnificent architectural design and you’ll hear it from the architect himself. After navigating through the cathedral make your way back on the other side of town by metro or on foot to Tromso famous hotdog stand. It’s a local favorite and the Reindeer is a MUST! There is seating behind the shack to enjoy your delicious hot dog. Additionally you can walk around and check out the many cute shops and even vintage second hand stores. Later in the evening if you’re up for something closer to home, why not try out the world’s most northern McDonald’s? It’s a busy place and seemingly local favorite.
