I found a park in Zhejiang that's even more fun than Disneyland

We drove from Shanghai 🚘 to OMG Heartbeat Park for the weekend. I didn't expect Hangzhou to hide such a treasure! Going uphill there’s a magic carpet and carousel, going downhill there’s a flying car and rafting. You can lie down going uphill, perfect for taking kids out. It’s designed for lazy moms to have fun with their kids too ✌🏻 🙋🏻‍♀️Here’s a lazy mom’s guide!! 🚗 Transportation: 3.5 hours driving from Shanghai 🚄 High-speed train: Tonglu Station + taxi 🌟 Where to stay? In Tonglu, you must choose a place with a good environment, with views of distant mountains and garden courtyards, the environment is amazing 👍 We chose a nearby homestay, Tonglu·Qiyunli Homestay (OMG Heartbeat Park branch), just a 5-minute drive, very convenient. (The owner will also pick up and drop off guests from the high-speed train station 👍) Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, very kid-friendly. Our kids finished everything for the first time. All the food is homegrown by the owner’s family, including homemade zongzi and rice cakes (Tonglu specialties). I have to say the owner’s family really has great taste, the decorations and facilities are very high-end, and they even prepare kids’ pillows, slippers, and toothbrushes. At night, they showed us an outdoor movie, perfect for family gatherings 🎈 Having such a villa 🏠 in the countryside is truly enviable [Like][Like] 🕗 Park opening hours: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (last entry at 4:00 PM) On weekends and holidays, there’s a night session, entry from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM 🅿️ Parking: Park parking lot is 10 RMB/day, and there’s a nearby farmers’ market parking lot for 20 RMB/day Recommended route 🚶🏻 Entrance — Tongtian River boat ride — Earth Science Exploration Team — Magic Carpet uphill — Angel Wings — Lingyun Sky Bridge — Jiutian Cloud Corridor — Sky Road Flying Car — Pegasus Carousel — Dragon Chasing Rafting — Bottle Feeding Fish — Sha Monk Technical School (Attached map shows routes A and C; on holidays, choose route C to avoid crowds and queues) ⭐ Tips for playing ⭐ 1️⃣ It’s best to rush in right when the park opens to reduce waiting time! If you come during the Dragon Boat Festival, the night session will be open, and you can queue from 4 PM, which is great for cooling off. 2️⃣ Upon entry, go to the visitor center to get a stamp booklet and map. There are 9 stamps in total (each person can get one, so families can have multiple). Collect all stamps 🉑 to get a small gift. 3️⃣ This route is really effortless for kids, you can play all the attractions! For uphill, you can take the automatic escalator and carousel 🎠, then raft downhill ⛰️ ✨ Attractions: ✔️ Tongtian River Boat Ride Take a boat through the underground dark river, follow the guide to see the karst cave wonders. The cave is a constant 18°C all year round, super cool, and the lighting and scenery are beautiful. ✔️ Lingyun Sky Bridge A very long glass walkway connecting two mountain peaks! You can overlook the entire park! ✔️ Jiutian Cloud Corridor There’s an astronaut at the entrance for photo ops. The corridor is like a cliffside glass walkway. ✔️ Sky Road Flying Car A 2.2 km real-life QQ Speed ride with many S-shaped turns, super fun! I really want to ride it again and again!! ✔️ Pegasus Carousel Ride the carousel 🎠 uphill to the rafting spot—truly a must for lazy people!! ✔️ Dragon Chasing Rafting Ride a kayak drifting on the glass walkway, cool and thrilling!! Two people per kayak, 3-4 minutes paddling downhill.
