Okinawa Navy Underground Park: WWII Site, Experience History

Navy Headquarters Underground Park (Navy Headquarters Underground Park, 海軍壕公園) is located in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. It is a well-preserved WWII site. This park was built on the underground bunker of the former Imperial Japanese Navy Headquarters. Due to its strategic importance, it became the command center for the Battle of Okinawa. The underground bunker consists of tunnels approximately 450 meters long, with command rooms, operation rooms, communication rooms, and more. Visitors can tour these underground facilities to understand the living conditions and operational situations of wartime commanders.
