Japanese lantern restaurant

One of our friends whom my friends and I met in Japan recommended coming to this lantern restaurant for dinner. It had really interesting decor and a floor plan layout that I haven’t seen in most restaurants on this trip. The entrance was actually blocked by a whole screen of lanterns presumably for the customers’ privacy dining inside. Tables were also hollowed into the ground and separated by tall wooden structures for maximum privacy. The food on their menu is also quite unique. On top of the usual Japanese fare, there were dishes like whale meat and beef tongue, which was pretty delicious if you don’t think about what you’re eating!
