Explore Tokyo Like a Pro 🚄✨ This trip was all about next-level digital art, luxury stays, stylish shopping, and jaw-dropping views! TeamLab Planets TOKYO’s immersive installations blew my mind, Tokyo Tower lit up the cityscape, and staying at The Tokyo Station Hotel felt like living in a palace — plus Ginza’s high-end shopping is always a treat. Top Spots to Visit: TeamLab Planets TOKYO (Toyosu 6-1-16, Koto-ku) is a must! The interactive art here is nothing short of surreal and it’s open 08:30–22:00 most days (¥193 admission). Tip: Wear shorts or skirts you don’t mind getting wet as some exhibits have water features! The Tokyo Station Hotel (Chiyoda-ku Marunouchi 1-9-1) is perfect for convenience — you can access Tokyo Station from the lobby. The breakfast is phenomenal (think Japanese-Western fusion)! Loved the elegant vibe and world-class service. Ginza (Chuo City, Tokyo 104-0061) is Tokyo’s luxury shopping mecca. Open 24/7 — go for window shopping, then fuel up with sushi or matcha treats at hidden cafes. Tokyo Tower (4-2-8 Shibakoen, Minato City) remains iconic. It’s open 09:00–23:00 (¥73 admission). For the best photos, visit at sunset when Tokyo glows! Getting Around: Definitely use your JR Pass or Suica card for seamless metro and JR line access. Tokyo Station links you to literally everywhere, so base your stay here. TeamLab Planets is a short train ride from Yurakucho or Tokyo stations. Eat Smart: Don’t skip the hotel breakfast! For lunch in Ginza, treat yourself to kaiten sushi at Ginza Sushiko, or try afternoon tea at the Tokyo Station Hotel lounge for extra splurge vibes. Pro Tips: Booking attractions and tickets in advance via trip.com totally saves time. Cash is still king for smaller shops and cafes. When it comes to Tokyo, Tokyo Station is definitely number one for its vibrant urban atmosphere! This itinerary focuses on the Tokyo Station area, exploring all five senses: immerse yourself in Tokyo Station's stunning night views and century-old architecture, receive a badge only railroad enthusiasts will appreciate, and stay at a prestigious hotel directly above the station, offering superb convenience for transportation, dining, and shopping. Staying at Tokyo Station not only allows you to slow down and experience Tokyo's intricacies, but also allows you to instantly connect and explore Japan. For city enthusiasts, these tips for accommodation, transportation, and fun activities close to the station are a real plus! |Recommended Attractions & Accommodations| 1. Tokyo Station Nighttime Stroll Walking past Tokyo Station's Marunouchi North Exit, the entire station glows at dusk, resembling a dreamy European palace under the lights. The architecture itself is incredibly storytelling, and every angle is perfect for photos, especially at night when the atmosphere truly elevates! Tip: For a special treat for railway fans, don't forget to redeem your limited-time lapel pin at the JR East Travel Service Center (located just inside the station, near the Marunouchi North Exit). The atmosphere is fantastic. 2. The Tokyo Station Hotel Address: 1-9-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku Staying at this century-old hotel truly feels like being part of a Tokyo story. Not only is it connected to Tokyo Station, offering excellent transportation (and truly exceptional service), but it's also within walking distance of the Imperial Palace and Ginza. Breakfast is highly recommended: The Japanese buffet offers dishes like seafood rice bowls and eel rice, and it's truly exquisite. The corridors are also covered in photos documenting the history of Tokyo Station, a must-see for those with a knack for art. The rooms are well-insulated, and some offer views of the Imperial Palace, allowing you to quietly enjoy the city's nightscape. 3. Super Select Tokyo Station Yaesu Chuo-guchi Address: 2 Chome-2-7 Yaesu This hotel is located across from Tokyo Station, or within a 5-minute walk. This makes it perfect for first-time visitors to Tokyo or those catching the Shinkansen early the next morning, without having to lug your luggage around. It offers comprehensive amenities, including a large bath, a wide selection of pillows, free washing machines, and self-service skincare products. Check-in and check-out are smooth, and the service is friendly. In the evening, there are free drinks and snacks (a relaxing time for office workers!). While the rooms are relatively small, they're clean enough. |Practical Accommodation & Travel Tips| - The hotel is directly connected to Tokyo Station, so you don't have to worry about lugging large luggage or arriving late at night. The subway and JR lines are just downstairs, making it easy to get to everything. - After shopping for souvenirs/gifts, be sure to stop by the JR East Travel Service Center to pick up a limited-edition badge – a truly special travel ritual. - Tokyo Station's nightscape is best photographed in the evening, when the lights and crowds are just right, creating the perfect atmosphere. - Both hotels are convenient for exploring nearby shopping, dining, and catching a train anytime. |Recommended Dining| In the morning, enjoy a high-quality Japanese breakfast at the Tokyo Station Hotel. Then, stroll to the Yaesu underground shopping mall or the station's food court, where you can choose from a wide variety of ramen, bento, and desserts. |Transportation Guide| Tokyo Station is a direct one-stop destination for both Narita and Haneda Airports. Tokyo Station is surrounded by a network of subway and JR lines, making it easy to get lost (and even if you do get lost, you'll quickly find your way back to the center of the station). It's recommended to download a simple station map beforehand to easily identify entrances, exits, and transfers. #TokyoNightView #TokyoStationHotel #RailwayFansCheckIn #TokyoAccommodation #CityTravelGuide

I really want to highly recommend this trip to Tokyo + Lake Fujikawaguchi! Not only can you experience the elegance of a century-old hotel in the core of the bustling city, but you can also courier to the foot of Mount Fuji in one day and be healed by the beautiful scenery. Highlights of the trip: Stay at the Tokyo Station Hotel, eat a convenient breakfast, visit Tokyo's classic landmarks, then take the railway straight to Lake Fujikawaguchi, feel the magnificence of nature - especially Oishi Park, purple flowers and Mount Fuji snow tops, life must-visit points full marks! Attractions/Locations Inventory Recommendations 🏨 Tokyo Station Hotel Address: Chiyoda-ku Marunouchi 1-9-1, Tokyo If you want to feel the quiet and century-old artistic atmosphere of Tokyo, both the exterior and lobby corridors of this hotel make you want to take a few more photos. Breakfast is super standard, recommended seafood covered rice and eel rice, the rooms are super well soundproofed and comfortable, many rooms look directly at the view of the Royal Palace, feel the beauty of the city. The biggest advantage has to be the transportation, with JR and multiple subways, whether it’s to Imperial Palace, Ginza, Akihabara or Asakusa, or even taking the Shinkansen to Lake Kawaguchi early in the morning is extremely convenient! 🌸Oishi Park (Fujikawaguchiko-cho) Address: 2525 No. 11 Oishi, Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District, Yamaashi 401-0305 Japan Open all day year round Want to see the perfect combination of Mount Fuji’s classic snowtop + sea of flowers? Dashi Park is the answer! The purple flowers were in full bloom when I visited, complementing Mount Fuji and green plants as a backdrop, which was really poetic. When the weather is clear, whether you take a close-up shot of flowers or a distant view of Mount Fuji, the picture is as beautiful as a postcard. The park is well-equipped with sightseeing trails, various flower varieties exhibition areas, great for photography, walking, family picnics, and nearby cafes and shops to sit and rest. Itinerary tips 1. Stay at a Tokyo Station hotel, you can take the JR Chuo Line directly to Otsuki Station in the morning, then change the Fujikyu Line to Lake Kawaguchi, the journey is about 2 hours, it is recommended to check the train time in advance, more time needs to be reserved during peak season. 2. Fuji Kawaguchiko area is recommended to bring your own hat, sunglasses whether sunny or rainy, summer flower season sunny, but the air is dry and comfortable. 3. Dashi Park has different flowers in four seasons, June ~ August is the peak season of lavender, remember to wear bright clothes, beautiful photos with their own protagonist aura. 4. Mount Fuji is easier to show up clearly on sunny days, it is recommended to be less crowded in the morning, shooting daylight effect is good, avoid the afternoon tourist peak. 5. Tokyo Station Hotel Breakfast A variety of options, it is recommended to reserve a seat with a royal view in advance, enjoying the food + city scenery in the morning is simply a beautiful start to the day. Transportation guide From Tokyo: JR Tokyo Station is within walking distance from the Tokyo Station Hotel, take the Chuo Line to Otsuki Station, transfer to the Fujikyu Line directly to Kawaguchiko Station, and transfer to a bus to Oishi Park. The whole journey takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes. There are round-trip buses in Fujikawaguchiko-cho, which is suitable for jumping stops. Food recommendations Tokyo Station Hotel Breakfast is not to be missed, the view of the Imperial Palace plus Japanese fine cuisine, happiness is overflowing! Near Lake Kawaguchi, try local soba noodles, matcha desserts and Fuji goat soup. Summary This Tokyo + Lake Fujikawaguchi itinerary is not just as simple as taking pictures of Mount Fuji. It has the comfortable accommodation experience of a modern city and the natural beauty of flowers in one day. A must-see in life, you must feel it for yourself! #Tokyo Travel #Mount Fuji Photo #Centennial Hotel Experience #Kawaguchi Lake Flower Sea #Travel Tips
