La Vista Tokyo Bay Deluxe Twin Room (Tokyo Tower View)

It is located a 2-minute walk from Yurikamome Shijomae Station. It is right across from Toyosu Fish Market, represented by Sushi Dai and Daiwa Sushi. For transportation, coming from Shimbashi via Yurikamome is straightforward, and it is convenient to transfer at Toyosu or the International Exhibition Center via subway or Rinkai Line. La Vista, which can be considered a deluxe class in the Dormy Inn group, has the same name but a wide price range. This place seems to be in the middle. Kawaguchiko and Daisetsu are resort-level and expensive, while Kushiro and Hakodate, which I have visited, are relatively affordable. Tokyo Bay is priced somewhere in between. I booked a deluxe twin room with guaranteed ocean view including breakfast for just over 10,000 yen in early October and stayed in mid-December. On the third day, since the schedule ended around 10 PM, I checked in late and was assigned a room on the 4th floor out of 14 floors. Still, I could see Tokyo Tower and Skytree from the room. The next morning, I could also see Mt. Fuji. I thought it would just be an ocean view of Odaiba, but it turned out to be a view spot that exceeded expectations. The signature late-night soba of Dormy Inn is, of course, provided here as well. They only pour the noodles and broth, and toppings are self-service. Some places offer alcohol or drinks, but here it’s soba only. The large public bath is open all night and closes from about 10 AM to 3 PM. I tried to go after eating soba but ended up falling asleep. The place that serves soba also serves breakfast. Reception is on the same floor, the 2nd floor. There is a staircase from the restaurant directly down to the 1st-floor seaside promenade, which is very convenient. About a 10-minute walk leads to a viewpoint where you can see Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower, Skytree, and Mt. Fuji. Many people jog or take walks there. Breakfast lives up to its fame, offering a wide variety of dishes including a generous sashimi spread from early morning. I went down around 6:40 AM and recommend going early. After breakfast, I went up to the large public bath on the 14th floor. There is a separate observation deck, outdoor open-air bath, large bath, lounge, spa, gym, sky bar, and indoor swimming pool all on one floor. The open-air bath offers views of Rainbow Bridge, Mt. Fuji, and Tokyo Tower. The official Instagram frequently posts photos of the hot springs, so you can refer to those. I took photos of the pool during the morning rest time. The hotel opened in July this year, so the latest facilities and new building make the rooms and large bath feel very fresh. When I went out for the 8 AM checkout, the breakfast waiting line stretched about 20 meters in front of the elevator. Currently, with the year-end season accommodation support program, it was almost fully booked that day as well. There were about 10 people in the checkout line, but since it can be done by machine, I finished quickly. Thank you.
