| Kengo Kuma's latest Tokyo creation is super chill~. Located near Tokyo Skytree, is a modern hotel in the dense urban district of Oshiage. As one of Tokyo's most vibrant areas in the past, it developed rapidly due to light manufacturing. Responding to the area's raw yet approachable character, the facade features extruded cement and wooden screens, evoking the spirit of small factories from the past. Inside, exposed ceilings and structural plywood create an atmosphere that resonates with the surroundings—a quality often missing in contemporary hotels. The ground floor integrates restaurant, bar, and reception areas through wood applications. A very modern designer hotel that I absolutely love~ 🪵🍂🪵🍂
