"Zojoji Temple" is a head temple of the Jodo sect located in the Shiba Park area of Tokyo, known as the family temple of the Tokugawa shogunate, a historic and famous temple. Its majestic presence with Tokyo Tower in the background creates a unique landscape where modernity and history intersect 📸🛕 Founded in 1393, it flourished greatly during the Edo period as the Tokugawa family’s place of worship. The graves of six shoguns (Hidetada, Ienobu, Ietsugu, Ieshige, Ieyoshi, and Iemochi) are still located on the temple grounds, giving off a dignified atmosphere.
