The garden covers an area of ​​about 250,000 square meters, with a Shioiri Pond and two duck hunting grounds. It is a representative daimyo garden in the Edo period. The pond in the garden is the "Shioiri Pond" where seawater is introduced into the pond. The scenery in the pond changes with the rise and fall of the tide, which is quite rare.
