After passing through the gate, the shopping street Nakamise-dori continues, and it's fun to see dolls, yukatas, and traditional Japanese sweets. I bought a delicious 'Injeolmi-flavored rice cake' and headed to Sensoji. My mind calmed down when I burned incense and made a wish at the main hall of Sensoji. I bought a small amulet and hung it on my bag, and my trip felt more secure. 📍 TIP: If you go around 8 in the morning, it's quiet and the sunlight comes in beautifully! ⸻ Day 2｜Taking the Enoden and taking a walk around Kamakura On this day, I took the JR from Tokyo Station early to Enoshima Station. There was only one goal! A romantic journey to Kamakura on the Enoden. The Enoden slowly runs along the narrow tracks between the sea and the houses. The sparkling sea outside the window and the cats passing by made my heart flutter. In Kamakura, I stopped by Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, and took a leisurely stroll along the long shopping street while eating the famous “cream puff”. Finally, I walked to Kotoku-in Daibutsu and took a commemorative photo in front of the giant Buddha statue📸 📍 TIP: The best view is when you sit in the front row of the Enoden! ⸻ Day 3｜Hakone day trip with a view of Mt. Fuji Take the Romancecar from Shinjuku early in the morning to Hakone! It was a cloudy day, but the feeling of Mt. Fuji gradually appearing in the distance from the train is still vivid. After arriving at Hakone Yumoto Station, I took the Hakone Tozan Line and climbed the winding mountain road. I saw the sulfurous area of ​​Owakudani and ate a black egg. (The egg that is said to make you live to be 100 years old… I ate two, so I could live to be 200 years old…😉) Then I immediately got on the Hakone Pirate Ship and crossed Lake Ashinoko. It was a heart-pounding moment when the sun was shining slightly across the lake and Mt. Fuji was clearly visible. ⸻ Day 4｜Tokyo’s night at Mori Tower On the last day of the trip, I went up to the Mori Tower observation deck in Roppongi Hills. I could see Tokyo Tower, Skytree, and Mt. Fuji in the distance at a glance. I recommend going at sunset rather than during the day! The city turning golden was so beautiful. I also stopped by the Mori Art Museum for a bit, and the sensory exhibits and quiet atmosphere made me feel at peace. The end of Tokyo always seems to end with such quiet emotion.
