Sensoji Temple | Tokyo

If you come to visit Tokyo, Sensoji Temple in Asakusa is a place we highly recommend. If you don't come, you haven't been to Tokyo. This temple is over 1,300 years old and has Kaminarimon Gate, which stands out with its large red lantern and statues of the gods of wind and thunder. Walking through this gate, you will find Nakamise Shopping Street, which is full of souvenir shops and Japanese sweets for you to try. Walking in, you will see the beautiful Hozomon Gate and the 5-story pagoda. The atmosphere here is full of the traditional Japanese culture. It is perfect for walking around, taking pictures, and experiencing the peace of mind in this big city. Admission is free and it is only a 5-minute walk from Asakusa Station.
