Gotanda OMO5! Unlock a new high-value urban vacation experience in Tokyo.

Value-for-money hotel I've stayed at several hotels in the OMO series under the Hoshino Resorts group, and this one was truly surprising! 📍 First of all, OMO hotels are generally located in convenient areas, and this one is in Gotanda, about 500-600 meters from the Yamanote Line 🚇. The Yamanote Line makes it easy to travel anywhere, and the hotel is just about 20 minutes away from Shinjuku or Nakameguro/Daikanyama. I've also stayed at OMO5 Otsuka, but the room types there are more limited, the rooms are smaller, and the location and surroundings are not as convenient as Gotanda. Room 🛏️: We chose the deluxe room for our family of three, and our three-year-old child stayed for free. The room is about 35 square meters. For the same price, hotels in Shinjuku barely had enough space to open a suitcase 🧳, but here, there are two single beds (less than one meter wide each) and a large tatami area. In the evening, you can overlook the city 🌆 and enjoy a beautiful sunset. However, the curtains in the room are a bit translucent, so it's easy to wake up early due to the sunlight. On the 15th floor of the hotel, there are vending machines, an ice maker 🧊, and laundry facilities. Food 🍱: The hotel's breakfast is quite good, featuring a variety of rice balls 🍙. You can choose not to book breakfast when reserving your room and decide to buy it later if you feel like it, as there are plenty of dining options nearby. During our four-day stay, we only had one meal at the hotel. Downstairs is Gotanda Shokudo, which offers many simple meal options. Along the road near Gotanda Station on the Yamanote Line, there are even more dining choices—there's the popular Saison ☕️, perfect for brunch, and my favorite Abura Soboro!! 🍜. Additionally, there's a standing udon shop that always has a queue but turns tables quickly, serving delicious meals from morning till night.
