Tokyo Wanderings: New Year's Blessings and a Poetic Play of Light

On New Year's Eve, I visited Zojoji Temple for prayers, surrounded by the faint aroma of incense and the hopeful wishes for the year ahead. The deep toll of the temple bell seemed to gently carry away the worries of the past year, leaving behind a sense of peace and blessings. Stepping out of the temple, Tokyo Tower stood right before me, its red and white silhouette glowing warmly under the winter blue sky, as if softly greeting the new year. As evening fell, I ascended the Tokyo Skytree, gazing down at the city gradually lighting up like a sea of stars, a bustling yet serene sight. In the distance, Mount Fuji stood quietly, its snow-capped peak poetic and majestic, inspiring awe. This slow and beautiful Tokyo moment felt like a tender melody flowing softly through the heart, making it hard to say goodbye.
