Tokyo Indoor Date Spots: From Ghibli Museum to a Local-Style Curry Shop

For rainy days or hot summer weather, the Ghibli Museum in Tokyo is highly recommended as an indoor date spot! The museum is filled with charming and whimsical vibes, making it perfect for taking photos. Fans of Ghibli aesthetics will absolutely love it. There’s also a quiet café near the museum with an amazing atmosphere. To experience more of the local vibe, instead of visiting touristy restaurants, I went to a curry shop run by a foreigner. It was bursting with authentic local charm! The owner seemed delighted to have Korean guests and gave us a very warm welcome. It was an unexpected experience that allowed me to feel the everyday life of Tokyo beyond the usual tourist attractions. :)
