Tokyo hotel prices are outrageously high Luckily, this newly renovated Ariake Hilton DoubleTree Saved my wallet from too much suffering - ▫️Stayed twice - first time got a standard twin room on high floor (heard it's due to renovation limitations of old buildings), second time scored a top-floor suite. Having a bathtub-equipped suite in Tokyo was legit shocking! ▫️The king bed is actually two twins combined. Living area is spacious - super convenient for opening luggage. ▫️The hotel sits right above two adjacent train stations (Yurikamome Line and Rinkai Line). While not covered by Tokyo Metro 72-hour pass, transfers to subway are still convenient. ▫️The surrounding area feels futuristic, close to Minato Ward and Odaiba. Recognized scenes from my childhood anime Digimon here! ▫️Breakfast on 1st floor may have queues during peak hours. Selection is decent though not extensive - filling enough. Happy Hour is mediocre (just drinks/popcorn) - not worth special trip. But the 7-Eleven downstairs is AMAZING - midnight snack runs in slippers, pure bliss! ▫️Diamond members get two complimentary Starbucks coffees - nice perk besides the signature cookies. ▫️Has gym (separate building) but no pool. Front desk service was exceptional - even got recognized, which was touching. ▫️Initially worried about location being remote, but actually quite convenient as long as you return at reasonable hours. - Daqi reporting with delight from full-of-surprises Hilton Tokyo Ariake DoubleTree
