Tokyo Onsen | Kusatsu Hot Spring | 24-Hour Onsen Healing Journey

After landing at Haneda Airport, head straight to Kusatsu Onsen♨️ to comfortably start our Greater Tokyo area tour. Transportation: Take the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, then take a bus or hotel shuttle from Karuizawa to Kusatsu. Hotel: Konoha The hotel offers a shuttle bus between Karuizawa and the hotel. After booking, you can immediately email the hotel to reserve a seat in advance. The schedule is fixed with only one trip. The bus has the hotel name "Konoha, Toki no Niwa" on it. Wait at the designated spot with peace of mind; it’s very punctual, so no worries about missing it. The hotel has three private onsen huts and two public baths. The Kusatsu onsen water quality is excellent; your skin feels silky smooth after soaking. Private onsen huts are limited to 40 minutes per use, with a light indicator at the door showing if it’s occupied. Overall, it’s not stressful; during the three times I went to soak (check-in, before bed, early morning), there was always an available hut. The public baths switch gender areas between day and night. Furu no Yu has a high-temperature pool, and Toki no Yu’s outdoor pool is slightly larger. The public bath experience is also good, with separate small pools. When it’s not crowded, you almost have the place to yourself. The men’s and women’s areas in these two public baths are connected at the same time, so when they switch sides, you can soak both at once. The hotel’s late-night ramen and buffet breakfast are decent. Since we planned to stroll around Yubatake and eat dinner there, we didn’t book the hotel dinner. Yubatake is nice to explore both day and night. You can warm your hands anytime, and with a towel, you can soak your feet whenever you want. Manten, near Yubatake, seems to be a chain restaurant. Their cold noodles and kamameshi (pot rice) taste good. A wonderful and healing onsen experience. Looking forward to coming again on a snowy day! #LetsGoSoakInTheOnsen #TheWarmestHappinessIsFromOnsen #PureNaturalOnsen #OnsenRitual #BenefitsOfOnsen Hotel
