Tokyo's youthful dream-chasing neighborhood: Shimokitazawa

If you're a fan of vintage clothing or American-style fashion, this is a must-visit spot. Known as the birthplace of vintage, music, and theater culture, Shimokitazawa is like a small American village, with its vintage shops showcasing unrestricted European and American fashion styles. You can get there via the Odakyu Line or the Keio Inokashira Line. From Shimokitazawa Station's East Exit, you'll find the station sign, and then follow the route mentioned in the comments section to explore. Along the way, you'll encounter places like The Runaway Guitarist, Honda Theater (which has plenty of "Bocchi the Rock!" merchandise that's much cheaper than in Ikebukuro or Akihabara), vending machines, and live houses. Most clothing stores here have fitting rooms available for use, but remember to take off your shoes before entering. The streets and architectural styles in this area also have a retro vibe, making it a fantastic spot for photography even if you're not planning to shop—your photos will turn out amazing!
