The easiest Senbon Torii to reach in Tokyo city

Sanno Hie Shrine was a little surprise on this Tokyo trip. Family members visiting Tokyo for the first time wanted to see the spectacular Senbon Torii. Unfortunately, most famous spots are in the Kansai region. Luckily, Sanno Hie Shrine near Tokyo Tower 🗼 This small but dense torii perfectly matched the photo effect we wanted. Besides the torii, the shrine itself is also very popular for its omamori (charms) and goshuin (seal stamps). Even on a weekday morning when we visited, there was a long line. Especially the monkey-shaped omamori, which completely captured our hearts. The wisteria trellis in April and May is also a must-see beautiful sight.
