"Kamo & Negi" Ramen, located in Sugamo, is a sister restaurant of the popular Kamo to Negi. The Sugamo branch is less crowded than the main branch in Okachimachi, so we recommend the Sugamo branch. The soup is made from duck stock, slowly simmered over low heat with only "duck, leeks, and water," and has a mellow, rich soy sauce flavor that brings out the natural flavor of the duck. The noodles are thin and go well with the soup. They use original, custom-made noodles made from a blend of domestic whole wheat flour and wheat. The duck confit is moist and soft, not heavy, and delicious. They are particular about the leeks, and when ordering, you can choose two from three types of leeks. Personally, I recommend the "Domestic Log White Leek." You can really taste the sweetness of the leeks. Yuzu kosho is placed at each seat, and it adds a nice accent, but it changes the flavor quite a bit, so it's best to add it at the end. The restaurant only has counter seats. The tables are made of tatami mats, and the atmosphere is calm and Japanese, so you can concentrate on the food◎ It's also easily accessible, just a 2-minute walk from Sugamo Station, and perfect for a drink at lunchtime or after work.
