🌠The Nezu Museum is located in Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo. It is one of the first private art museums in modern Japan. There are six exhibition halls in the venue, mainly displaying tea utensils and artworks collected by Japanese industrialist Kaichiro Nezu. In 2006, after a three-and-a-half-year large-scale renovation, the new museum was designed by architect Kengo Kuma, completely preserving the garden layout and artistic style of the original garden and tea room of the Nezu residence. The design of the back garden is inspired by traditional Japanese teahouses and courtyards, with simple lines.
