Chasing Sakura at Sumida River Park

#cherryblossom25 Sumida River Park is a popular spot in Tokyo for cherry blossom viewing, particularly in early to mid-April. The park stretches along both sides of the Sumida River and is home to over 1,000 cherry trees, creating a breathtaking cherry blossom tunnel. The park is especially famous for its scenic walking paths, which offer fantastic views of Tokyo Skytree towering over the cherry blossoms. During sakura season, the park is filled with locals and tourists enjoying picnics and hanami (flower viewing). In the evenings, the cherry trees are beautifully illuminated, making the experience even more magical. The park also hosts a cherry blossom festival, complete with food stalls and entertainment.
