The annual cherry blossom season in Japan is about to arrive, and this is the oldest museum in Japan - the Tokyo National Museum. It is like a time machine, taking visitors through the history and culture of Japan. When I stood in front of a Ukiyo-e depicting cherry blossoms, I seemed to see the spring of hundreds of years ago, when cherry blossoms were like clouds and rosy clouds, dotted every corner of Tokyo. 🏛️Exhibition Hall Introduction Founded in 1872, it has a collection of over 110,000 items, including 87 national treasures of Japan. The museum has several major buildings, including the Main Building, Oriental Building, Heisei Building (permanent exhibition on the first floor, special exhibition on the second floor requires additional tickets), Kuroda Memorial Hall, Horyu-ji Treasure House, and Hyokeikan (open only during special exhibitions). The exhibition hall of the main building is very interesting, and there are Ukiyo-e experience activities. There is a courtyard and a lake behind the main building, which is also the place where the cherry blossoms are most concentrated. There are also many large cherry trees on both sides of the trail.
