National Museum of Nature and Science - Japan Pavilion -

I went to the National Museum of Nature and Science in Ueno, Tokyo! I'd like to introduce you to the Japan Pavilion, an area that can be entered with a permanent exhibition ticket! The highlights of the Japan Pavilion are the special exhibition (reservations required) and exhibits related to Japanese history and climate. The special exhibition featured a collaboration between Pokémon and fossils. I was impressed by the exhibit that looked at history through the bones of Japanese people from various eras, from the Paleolithic period to the Jomon period and present day. I felt a sense of familiarity seeing the minerals mined in Japan lined up by prefecture, rice (Japan's staple food), and animals that live in Japan!
