Naka-Meguro, Tokyo, February 2024 @KindanKajitsu, or Forbidden Fruit, is a stylish café serving up sandwiches that are nothing short of indulgent. I arrived just as they opened, and the grilled cheese was next-level, perfectly crisp, irresistibly gooey, and decadently rich. Topped with a fried egg, its golden-orange yolk glowing like the morning sun, it was the perfect way to start the day. Paired it with a long black from @Jollity_Coffee, a specialty roaster that’s new to me but one I’ll be keeping an eye on.
