#TokyoHotel I went to Japan for a month in May. I didn’t stay in Tokyo for long, so I chose Hotel Okura, one of the three royal hotels in Tokyo. It was built in 1958 for the Tokyo Olympics and renovated in 2019. The hotel style is business-like and has a Japanese old-money feel. The service is warm and attentive like a Japanese hotel. You can request a tower view room from the concierge in advance. The housekeeping department puts out newspapers every day and provides chocolates for turndown service. The room meets five-star standards, the lighting system and sunshades are great, and the bathroom can see the night view of Toranomon. I love the floor-to-ceiling windows, which offer a panoramic view of half of Tokyo at night, with Tokyo Tower unobstructed. 😔The only drawback is the location. It is on a hillside and close to the US Embassy, ​​so it is not convenient to travel. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the subway station, and you have to climb a hill back, mostly by taxi.
