A historical landmark

The tokyo station unlike other stations is not your regular urban looking structure. Instead it has a heritage charm and sits in an area full of metropolitan views. One of my favourite expericnes in Japan has been riding trains and eating food. Also, gigling over this and that which I still see in Japan and continues to amuse me. Over the years with over a dozen tokyo stays under my belt. Not only do I find tokyo station to be the most efficient and better of options in tokyo. But also as an area for staying it convenient and lets say better than a lot of weird but popular areas in tokyo. This station connects you to the rest of Japan. It's fascinating how things are so well managed in Japan. The interiors are consistent with heritage like theme with a blend of modern and efficient. There is a world full of bento options inside and other shops to look at before your train. The space outside the station is very pleasant with a park like vibe in the evenings. It's a popular spot for pictures even with locals who use the stunning views for their graduation shots, pre wedding etc. I think it would be worth coming by and seeing this beautiful station even if you are not taking a train. #japantrip#tokyostation #cherryblossom2024 #summerdestinations #myhiddengems #japan #100waysoftravel
