[Tokyo/Hanazono Inari Shrine] Hidden spot/historic site, Shinoboka Inari

Hanazono Inari Shrine is adjacent to Gojo Tenjin Shrine. Its founding date is unknown, but it is said that in 1654, the monk Kokai rebuilt the abandoned shrine! Its former name was Shinobuoka Inari. It was also called Ana Inari because there was a shrine on top of a rock cave. It still exists today, but is fenced off and you can worship inside, but photography is not allowed. The fence makes it seem like trespassing is prohibited, so this is a hidden spot. It is enveloped in a mysterious atmosphere.
