Shinobazu Pond and Bentendo

The lotus flowers in Shinobazu Pond had not yet bloomed. (I went there in mid-June 2023) The best time to see the lotus flowers is July and August, so it was a little disappointing that they had not yet bloomed, but the white hydrangeas were beautifully blooming. I also went to Bentendo, which enshrines Benzaiten, a goddess of fertility, on an artificial island in the large Shinobazu Pond. After praying at Bentendo, I looked out over Shinobazu Pond from the side, and the green lotus flowers were very beautiful.
