🇯🇵｜Tokyo Michelin One Star Tempura

We visited one of the top three tempura specialty restaurants in Tokyo, called "Fukamachi Tempura" . This restaurant is also a Michelin one-star restaurant, and we were lucky enough to secure a dinner reservation with head chef Masao Fukamachi. Fukamachi's tempura has a very thin batter that is not greasy at all, and it is fried and served fresh. We were surprised by the fine dining quality of the tempura. The restaurant uses two different oil temperatures for frying different ingredients, and each piece of tempura is served with a different dipping sauce to bring out the best taste and flavor of the food.
