Famous Sensoji temple

This temple appears on many advertisements and postcards of Japan so it was a must-visit stop for me when I was in Tokyo. The size of the temple itself and the grounds it was built on is massive, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well-maintained the actual temple was. It gets really crowded everywhere, especially the street with the shops flanking on both sides. The souvenirs sold here were really cute though so be sure to snap some up for yourself. There are also the fortune-telling joss sticks and wooden drawers with papers detailing what your fortune will be like. The only issue for me was the crowds. #tokyo
