The gate of the Hongo Campus of the University of Tokyo

This is the Hongo campus of the University of Tokyo, Japan's top educational institution. Unfortunately, I was not able to enter the campus at the time, so these are photos of the surrounding area. The famous Akamon Gate and other historical gates and buildings give off a solemn atmosphere.
