Kii Peninsula Tour | Toshi Island, Mie Prefecture

On the second day of my Kii Peninsula tour, I chose Toshi Island, the largest island in Toba Bay, Mie Prefecture. As a Beijinger born inland, I have always longed for the vast sea and dreamed of life on an island. So I chose Toshi Island for this trip. I remember that morning, my companion and I walked for about 7 minutes from Toba Station to TOBA Marine Terminal, and took the 9:30 ferry to Wagu Port on Toshi Island. After disembarking, I saw the clear sea. Not far from the port is a beach called Sunshine Beach. Although I couldn't swim in the sea in winter, I could stand there and listen to the sound of the waves, which was very soothing. After a short break, my companion and I began our journey to explore Toshi Island. We decided to spend a day fully experiencing the charm of this island. This time, I will share photos of the sea on Toshi Island.
