Oasis between the valleys

Wadi Shab is one of the most popular attractions in Oman, for good reason. The journey involves a boat ride, a canyon hike through azure blue waters, swimming along multiple pools and then finally a waterfall in a cave! If all this sounds a little exhausting, do not fret – it’s an easy, beautiful day trip with no need for a guide. Shab’ translates to ‘gorge between the cliffs’, which is a perfect description. The hike reminded me of southern Utah, but with the added beauty of perfectly blue pools. #travel #trip #oman #nature
