Times Square is now considered the heart of New York. This vibrant metropolis, with its huge, illuminated advertising hoardings is the liveliest part of Manhattan. We stayed at Homewood Hilton at 37th Street which allowed us to discover the places of interest by foot which was what we were looking forward to as the city was bustling with people all the time. Not to mention the siren of the police car could be heard quite frequently.
