Tikal National Park 🗺️

#myhiddengems During my summer vacation, I had the chance to explore Tikal National Park in Guatemala, and it was an incredible adventure. Located deep in the jungle, Tikal is one of the most impressive Mayan ruins I’ve ever seen. The entrance fee was 150 GTQ, and it was well worth it for the chance to wander among these ancient ruins surrounded by lush greenery. Climbing the temples, especially Temple IV, provided breathtaking views of the dense rainforest and other ancient structures peeking through the canopy. The sheer scale and history of the site are awe-inspiring. I highly recommend a guided tour to fully appreciate the historical context and spot wildlife like howler monkeys and toucans. Nearby, the town of Flores offers charming lakeside views and a great spot to relax after a day of exploring.
