Similan Island, Thailand

Similan Island is a 2-hour speedboat ride from Phuket. I was deeply impressed by the island, it is so beautiful. The island is closed for several months every year because turtles lay eggs. There are strict protection measures for Similan Island, such as not allowing shoes or food to be brought to the island. The waters of Similan Island are very blue, and it feels like the world of Avatar. We stayed in Similan for one night, and there was a crab catching activity at night, while looking at the starry sky! I saw big turtles while snorkeling. What surprised me was that there were pregnant women, disabled people, and old men in their seventies and eighties among the foreigners traveling with me. They were all snorkeling without any difference. It was so free!
