You can see Mt. Fuji from the Boso Peninsula

I went to Tateyama Castle on a trip to Tateyama. It's on top of a hill, so you have to trudge up the slope. There's also a free shuttle car to the observation deck at the base of the castle, from which you can see Tateyama city and Mt. Fuji! Mt. Fuji seen across the sea is something special. You can also get a good view of the Izu Peninsula, Oshima, and the Boso mountains from the castle's keep. Inside, there is an exhibition of Nansō Satomi Hakkenden.
