With a wide variety of set-menu-style dishes, this restaurant is beloved by locals for its simple, Taiwanese flavors. 2️⃣ Daxi Old Tea Factory Cafe 🍵 Address: No. 80, Lane 732, Sec. 2, Fuxing Road, Daxi District, Taoyuan City This cafe was renovated from a tea factory dating back to the Japanese colonial era. Enjoy Taiwanese tea and sweets in a relaxing atmosphere. The combination of historic architecture and a modern atmosphere is appealing. 3️⃣ Daxi Old Street Centennial Fried Rice 🍚 The old street's specialty, "Fried Rice," is a traditional dish of glutinous rice tossed in soy sauce and spiced oil. With its savory flavor and chewy texture, this snack is satisfying even as a light snack. This century-old establishment's flavor is a must-try. 4️⃣ Daxi Old Street Taro Pork Cake 🍠 A traditional Hakka chewy snack. Made by steaming taro mixed with rice flour, it's characterized by its gentle sweetness and texture.
