Sacred Trees Trail (about 1.5km/1.5 hours) You will pass by 24 numbered sacred trees, among which the No. 5 giant tree has stood for about 2,800 years. It is one of the largest and most dense red cypress forests in Taiwan. The trail is equipped with exquisite wooden planks and explanation signs, allowing you to stand in awe of these forest giants up close . 2. Baling Ancient Trail + Ecological Museum (about 1.3km/2 hours) Close to the visitor center, it is a relaxing route that is loved by parents and eco-enthusiasts. Along the way, there are butterfly pavilions, beetle pavilions, broad-leaved forest pavilions and rope suspension bridges. The four interactive pavilions will definitely make children enjoy walking to the end and forget to return . 3. Relax on the viewing platform + cherry blossom season The exit of the ancient trail leads to the Changshou Pavilion viewing platform, which has a wide view of the misty valley; the Thousand Island cherry blossoms bloom in February and March every year, and the Fuji cherry blossoms bloom in March.
