Strolling around Dongyanshan National Forest Recreation Area and finding delicious food in Taoyuan Swiss Village

#MarchGoodPlaces2025 Dongyanshan National Forest Recreation Area is located in Fuxing District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan, about an hour's drive from Daxi. In the past, it was a logging team of the Forestry Conservation Administration (formerly known as the Forestry Bureau), leaving behind many forestry relics, such as loggers, cableways, and trolleys, hidden beside the intellectual trail. Today, you can stroll through the beautiful and neat Cryptomeria melongena forest surrounded by clouds and mist, climb the stairs to the top of Dongyan Mountain at an altitude of 1,212 meters to enjoy the scenery from Taoyuan to Greater Taipei. The Cryptomeria fortunei forest in the area is the most distinctive feature of Dongyan Mountain. There are explanatory signs along the trail. Walking on the tree-lined trail, you can enjoy insects, flowers and original vegetation. The forest is also full of phytoncide and negative ions; it is a great place to escape the summer heat. Dinner was decided at "Taoyuan Swiss Village (Tina Kitchen)". Tina Kitchen has many branches in Taoyuan, all of which use surrounding attractions as their signature dishes and food as their signature dishes. Each branch has its own unique installation art.
