Okinawa | Yaeyama Islands | The most cultural place

You may feel unfamiliar with Taketomi Island, but it is the most cultural place in the Yaeyama Islands of Okinawa. The entire island retains the original appearance of Okinawa and has been designated as an "Important Traditional Architecture Preservation Area" by the Japanese government. Most of the houses on the island are made of wood, and the roads are mostly made of white sand, preserving the appearance of early Okinawa. Although this is my first time here, it is enough to make me fall in love with this place. A resort that has the dual advantages of Tahiti and Maldives, it turns out to be a hidden paradise carefully built by the Hoshinoya Group. Each villa at HOSHINOYA Taketomi Island is modeled after the traditional houses on Taketomi Island, and the stone lions on the red-tiled roofs are meant to protect the house. In addition to the feeling of being on vacation, I personally feel more like "home". It turns out that top-level travel can not only be luxurious, but also contain a sense of warmth. I believe that only the Hoshinoya Group can do this. This time I stayed in a standard double Japanese-style villa with an area of 53 square meters. All guest rooms here are equipped with unique gardens, two single beds and a seating area where guests can relax. When I pushed open the traditional glass and wooden door and stepped onto the stone steps, I was healed by the fresh scent of wood as soon as I entered the house. The hotel's cuisine is also unforgettable. The "Ryukyu Nouvel" cuisine, prepared by one of the top French chefs in Japan, is a combination of Ryukyu cuisine and Taketomi's traditional cuisine, created with French techniques. Whether it is the taste, layout, or plating, it is also very colorful! The herbs used in the dishes are also grown on site. This accommodation experience made me deeply feel the charm of Taketomi Island. In just two days and three nights, I have enjoyed this three-in-one environment of people, culture and nature. If you want to experience the original appearance of Okinawa, I recommend you to come to Taketomi. You don’t need to bring a lot of things, so you can come light. #Overseas Travel #Hotel #Japan #Okinawa
