"Yashinoki" is the only coffee shop on the island, located in the village of Kohamajima. Run by an oil painter and his wife, a picture book writer, this cafe is attractive for its art and warm atmosphere. Original T-shirts, hand towels, and other miscellaneous goods are also sold in the store.  Recommended points Handmade Western food menu: Enjoy heartwarming dishes such as chicken curry, keema curry, and omelet rice.  (Lunch was not available at the time of our visit💦) Sweets made with island ingredients: Enjoy local flavors such as the "brown sugar sundae" made with brown sugar from Kohamajima and island banana juice.
