There are quaint townhouses, long-standing miso breweries, Japanese grocery stores and Japanese-style cafes everywhere. Why not try the legendary Hida beef sushi or charcoal-grilled skewers here, as well as local snacks such as chestnut wagashi and soy sauce dango.
