Reasons to Fall in Love with Taiwan's Summer: Hydrangea Season

From May to July each year, Taiwan celebrates its hydrangea season, showcasing flowers in various colors and symbolic meanings. 💐 Purple hydrangeas symbolize beautiful love and reunion, white hydrangeas represent companionship, and pink ones signify hope—all carrying wonderful meanings. 🌷 We visited the Gao Family Hydrangea Field on Yangmingshan, one of the most famous flower fields in the area, featuring tall flower walls perfect for photography. 📸 Admission is only 100 TWD, with no time limit. There are three zones here: two located on Taipei's Yangmingshan and one in Wanli, New Taipei. If you prefer not to go up the mountain and want to explore the North Coast, the Wanli zone is a great option. 🌊 The first zone is larger but tends to be more crowded; we chose the second zone, which was less crowded and allowed us to take plenty of photos. The two zones are only a few hundred meters apart, so you can choose based on your preference. 🌼
