Tokyo Tokyo Sightseeing There are many sightseeing spots in Tokyo, but this time I went to Kuramae Shrine, a shrine in Taito Ward that is a power spot, so I'll share what it was like there. 📍 Kuramae Shrine 📍 Kuramae Shrine, 3-14-11 Kuramae, Taito Ward This shrine was built in 1693, and its former name was Iwashimizu Hachimangu, the same as the original shrine, but it was renamed Kuramae Shrine in 1951. It is also a shrine associated with Motoinu, a Rakugo story, so there is a statue of Motoinu in the precincts! In the Edo period, sumo wrestling events were held in the precincts! When I visited, the cherry blossoms were at the end of their season, but they were still in bloom.
