Upon entering Ding Wang, located on the second floor near the pedestrian zone at Exit 6 of Ximending, you'll see a sign on the wall reading, "Eating as a Way: The Development of Chinese Culinary Culture." Ding Wang's duck blood tofu is amazing! 💯💯 When you go to Ding Wang, you absolutely must order the spicy duck blood tofu hotpot; the ingredients are incredibly generous. The staff were incredibly friendly and kept us topped up. We weren't seated until midnight, but the service wasn't compromised, unlike some restaurants that feel oppressive or pushy. With such warm service, high-quality ingredients, and friendly service, the 10% service charge is very reasonable. ❗️❗️ The tofu and duck blood are incredibly generous. I was actually full after just 10 yuan! 👍👍 And I can keep refilling! 🤣🤣🤣 They even packed up enough to last at least another day. 😆😆 The restaurant kindly reminds you to consume the soup base and ingredients within 2-3 days to ensure they stay fresh. The pork belly, boneless fresh beef, and their signature meatballs are beautifully presented. Simply dip the beef in a sauce and you're ready to go. 👍👍 It's mildly spicy. 🌶 It's not spicy at all. 😚☺️ For those who prefer spicy food, they even provide broth to dilute it. For those who enjoy spicy food, you can start with a medium spice option.
