Budget Friendly Pandas At Taipei Zoo! Fun For All The Family

If seeing pandas is on your bucket list Taipei Zoo is one of the best places to do it, they have two pandas currently and it’s only £2.50 to enter the zoo - one of the cheapest zoos I have ever come across. The zoo has a huge array of animals and it has some really interesting educational exhibits along with play areas for children, it’s a great family day out if you are in Taipei! I was lucky enough to see all the major animals and even saw a few of them being fed, it really is a working zoo and conservation center - so if you are there long enough you are more than likely able to see some zoo keepers interacting with and taking care of animals. The zoo is arranged by habitat and geographical zones and the animals have really big enclosures, Its one of the best maintained zoos I have seen and the animals seem genuinely happy and healthy. The staff are very helpful and there are volunteers in the park asnwering quesitons and offering informaiton about the various animals they are looking after. The signs are bilingual and there are plenty of toilets, vending machines and food options throughout the park - and of course lots of panda themed souvenirs to help you remember the experience. It can be very busy during the afternoon so I would advise heading there as the park opens, you can then do the cable car next door to take you up the mountain behind the zoo.
